Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay overall. The rooms are modern and the staff is accommodating, but there were some issues with the air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The location is convenient on the main New England Highway, but it's a bit far from the center of Tamworth. The dining experience was good with beautifully presented choices, but there was an incident in the car park.
The hotel's rooms are beautifully appointed with gold/metallic accents in an art deco style, but the noisy air conditioning and lack of internet were minor drawbacks. The service had a quality feel with kind and helpful staff, though we had a small hiccup with breakfast delivery timing. The location on the New England Highway was convenient but felt a bit captive due to neighboring facilities. The dining experience looked good and reasonably priced, offering a friendly atmosphere for all visitors.
I had way more space than I needed in the rooms, which were clean and very comfortable. The Coal Bunker Bar at The Powerhouse really knew their food menu, and the service was exceptional. The location was close to town but tourist spots were spread out. The dining experience was pleasant overall. The hotel had great facilities.
